Become A Business Advisor

CORE Business Advisors help our students succeed in a number of different ways. We encourage advisors to choose three or four ways to aid our community of adult learners:

Help Students Succeed

As a Business Advisor, you can offer students:

a three week (or longer) internship
a job shadowing opportunity
a job to a qualified CORE graduate

Volunteer

Offer an enhancement workshop on your line of work
Conduct practice interviews
Team teach a day or evening class (great for managers)
Help prepare for a graduation ceremony (great for groups)

Become a Financial Partner

Support CORE through a financial contribution or grant
Provide in-kind support through collection of monitors, flash drives and hard drives
Underwrite and sponsor a student graduation

Write the Next CORE Success Story

Support CORE’s computer skills training program and help your neighbors get jobs that provide security and dignity. With your support, we can offer our program tuition free. 88% of donations go directly to programs, and CORE consistently raises about $2 of in-kind support to match every donor dollar.
