What Our Volunteers Do
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Lead Instructors, particularly for essential computer skills classes held virtually
- Zoom Administrators who help introduce new students to the platform and connect for virtual classes
- Pathway & Progress Advisors and Coaches
- Computer and Laptop Refurbishers
- Webinar Leaders
- Fundraising, event planning, and communications
Needed Skills for Volunteers:
- As most classes are taught online, Zoom skills are required (and we can provide guidance)
- Computer refurbishing skills with Microsoft specialties
- Other nonprofit skill areas in fundraising, development, marketing, communications, database management, etc.
- Other education skills, including program evaluation, curriculum, tech education, and workforce development
