Donate
CORE’s operating budget comes primarily from generous individual donations and competitive grants from local governments, foundations, or corporations. Sponsors play a big role in the success of our program too, providing involvement from the local business community. We accept many forms of donation that are more clearly outlined on the pages linked here; important items we accept are computer donations if they meet the criteria listed on the computer donation page.
Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of Computer CORE. Each year, nearly 100 dedicated volunteers help make our mission possible by teaching digital literacy and career development classes, serving as Zoom administrators, supporting students as advisors and classroom assistants, and helping with technology distribution and computer boxing events. Volunteers also contribute their talents in areas such as marketing, outreach, writing, design, event planning, and administrative support. Their time, expertise, and compassion enable Computer CORE to operate efficiently on a lean budget while serving hundreds of adult learners each year. By sharing their knowledge and skills, our volunteers help students build confidence, gain critical digital skills, and take meaningful steps toward better careers and brighter futures.
