Adam Schau, MBA, PMP

Adam’s experience includes five years of experience in progressive Strategy and Operations Management at Microsoft. Responsibilities include proactively supporting business groups by serving as a trusted business advisor to the General Manager and leadership team, striving for process improvements, identifying and solving complex business issues, providing field-level support, and completing special projects for the Vice President’s office.

Previous experience in a variety of professional occupations, including lobbying and legislative organization at the state and national level, management and legal experience in a commercial law firm, project management execution, and entrepreneurial achievements.

Adam received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Business and an MBA in Analytics and Marketing from Indiana University. He holds Project Managers Professionals Certification (PMP) and Certified SCRUM master.

Salvador Bezos, MS ECE, JD

Sal Bezos is a patent attorney and director at Sterne Kessler. Sal provides services in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office, developing enforceable patent portfolios capable of withstanding legal scrutiny. Sal is also part of the firm’s Patent Office Litigation Practice, having represented patent owners and petitioners in numerous post-grant proceedings before the PTAB.

Through Sal’s collaboration with Washington, D.C.-area legal aid services, the firm’s pro bono practice has expanded to include an immigration law practice. Through this program, Sal and the firm have filed a habeas petition to reunite an immigrant child with his family, helped victims of violence and abuse apply for US Nonimmigrant Status, and helped DACA recipients apply for status renewal, among other efforts.

Sal is passionate about education. He is an adjunct professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where he has taught a course on patent writing since 2012. In addition, Sal served as the chair of the Technology and Engineering Education Advisory Board for Fairfax County Public Schools and as a general board member for ten years, where he provided industry perspectives and review of Fairfax County’s middle and high school engineering curriculum.

Sal holds a J.D. from George Mason, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Col. James Paige

Col. James “Jim” Paige, President/CEO, PTG Consulting Group and Executive Director/Co-Founder, Concerned Citizens Network of Alexandria (CCNA), has a wealth of senior-level experience in military operations, logistics, international affairs, and program management. He is Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Student Leadership Academy (PSLA), a nonprofit, leadership training and long-term mentoring program for underserved, underrepresented and at-risk college students. Deeply committed to education and equity, Jim has partnered with Computer CORE on a number of initiatives as well as providing consultation, guidance, and mentorship.

Jim’s work with the federal government includes serving as the Project Manager and National Coordinator for the “post 9-11” TSA Airport Federalization Project Advanced Team, which developed new airport security screening procedures and implemented them nationwide. As well, he served as Senior Advisor for the U.S. Army National Museum project. In that role, he worked with potential donors, senior leaders, the academic community, and conducted oral history interviews with Tuskegee Airmen, Sioux Code Talkers, and other military veterans. Currently, he works closely with The Bowman Veteran’s Support Group, Birmingham, Alabama and KP21 Productions, Houston Texas, to support homeless veterans.

With broad experience in the international arena, he has worked extensively as a project manager on behalf of the World Bank’s Post Conflict Unit and the governments of Switzerland and Norway for the repatriation of Northern Ugandan Refugees and Child Soldiers. He also served as the Bank’s representative to the United Nations Coordinating Action on Small Arms (CASA) Mechanism, routinely coordinating international conferences and seminars in Africa and Europe As security advisor for The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), he authored HIV/AIDS Strategy for African Military Leaders.

In the private sector, he is a frequently requested guest speaker and regularly conducts strategic communications seminars and leadership training sessions for numerous clients throughout the country. A committed mentor for youth, he served as the Inaugural Board Chairman for the NASA Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy (SEMAA) Program and continues to mentor young leaders.

Jim, a retired Army colonel, has an MA in Human Resource Management. He is a lifetime member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and was honored at the 2006 Trumpet Awards for his support to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Justin Wilson

Justin Wilson served on Computer CORE’s Board of Directors from 2001-2007, including 3 years as Secretary then Treasurer. Justin also served on the executive search and transition team during his tenure.

Justin was elected Mayor of the City of Alexandria in November of 2018. As Mayor, he represents the City regionally on the Northern VA Transportation Authority and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Board of Directors, and leads several city committees including City Schools Subcommittee, the ARHA Redevelopment Committee, the Quality of Life Committee, Legislative Subcommittee, and the Audit Committee.

An experienced community leader, Justin previously served 8 years on Alexandria’s City Council, including three years as Vice Mayor. Justin’s leadership has led to new investments in schools, transportation and environmental infrastructure. He has worked to expand early childhood education, address growing student enrollment, accelerate economic growth, advance climate policy as well as protecting and expanding housing affordability. Prior to his election to city council, Justin served on city transit and budget committees, and was twice elected president of the Del Ray Citizens Association.

Justin is employed by the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) as a Senior Director. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is a Fellow of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia.
