Getting new computers in your office? Before you return or recycle old devices, consider donating them to Computer CORE.
As a 26-year-old nonprofit and a certified Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher, CORE refurbishes donated computers and provides them to adult learners in need. Your donation extends the life of technology, supports digital equity, and reduces e-waste.
Highest need: PC laptops that can run Windows 11
PC laptops that cannot upgrade to Windows 11 (we install MX Linux)

Monitors, keyboards, mice, and cords
We cannot accept servers, printers, scanners, fax machines, or items over 25 lbs. Equipment we cannot use is responsibly recycled through our partner Securis. For Apple devices, please remove them from your iCloud account before donating.
Our trained tech team follows industry best practices to prepare devices for reuse:
All machines are factory reset
A new operating system is installed (Windows or MX Linux)
Data is cleared even if donors have already wiped the device
