“It’s a great honor to Serve as an Instructor and Volunteer at Computer CORE (CORE). I am grateful to the CORE team, my mentors, and everyone who has helped and supported me throughout my professional and academic journey. Thus, my commitment to volunteer, give back, and pay it forward and make a difference in my community and people’s lives through Education.
It’s great to be a member of the CORE Team – together we are making a difference in our community and beyond!”
Regarding her work as a school community liaison, May says, “I want to promote this great program among my colleagues and my supervisors. I can’t tell you how much our families are in need of this program.”
“Volunteering at CORE gives me the opportunity to support my community by helping students achieve their career objectives.”
“What I love about Computer CORE is ALL the teachers are volunteers.”
From teaching computer skills or career development, to helping behind the scenes with computer refurbishment, office admin, writing and grant support, or graphic design – there’s something for everyone. No prior experience is necessary.
