Volunteering

Help students graduate with the skills and tools they need for successful careers.

Volunteers have helped over 5,500 adults fulfill their career aspirations, since 1999.

  • Join a group of dedicated people who often stay 5+ years
  • Teach computer technology and digital literacy skills
  • Coach students to promote academic and professional success
  • Refurbish computers for students who don’t have one
  • Help behind the scenes on the Board of Directors, or with activities such as workshops, grantwriting, or administrative support
  • Support a program that builds careers and community

Explore Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer roles at CORE encompass a range of activities from teaching computer skills or coaching career development — to helping behind the scenes with computer refurbishment, data wrangling, office support, computer drive events, workshops, graphics, and grantwriting. There’s something for everyone at Computer CORE. Learn more at an upcoming orientation. No prior experience necessary.

Volunteer Orientations are held periodically, and prior to each term. Currently all orientations are virtual. Please apply through the sign-up form and we will send you details about upcoming orientation sessions. Please let us know if you have any questions.
