Staff at the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center Provide Teachers the Tools to Grow

An article about workforce development highlighting a collaboration between the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center and Computer CORE was published in the September issue of the Virginia Commonwealth University Newsletter, VCU News:
The class, called Code Beats, was offered through Computer CORE, a technical training program for adult learners in Northern Virginia, thanks to the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center at Virginia Commonwealth University.”
The article continues by highlighting Computer CORE’s journey into virtual with insights from Executive Director Donna Walker James about advantages to students, relating “Walker James said the COVID-19 pandemic, and the pivot to online learning, have actually had a benefit to adult learners.”
